SPICE-FLAVORED HERBAL LIQUID? DOES THAT EXIST?

An innovative biotechnology company, PT PUF Sains Lab, released PUFFpod CovHerbal, an herbal e-juice variant containing authentic Indonesian spices such as kencur, red ginger, temulawak, lime leaves, and black seed. PUFFpod CovHerbal is also made with added extracts of natural ingredients like bay leaves, bidara leaves, and green chili.

Head of Marketing at PUFF, Edwin Santoso, stated that the presence of PUFFpod CovHerbal aims to provide an option for consumers who want to reduce nicotine and tobacco intake, by creating a herbal vaporizer device whose contents are made from authentic Indonesian natural ingredients, without tobacco or nicotine.

However, PUFFpod CovHerbal can only be used with PUFF devices, exclusively designed for PUF Sains Lab Indonesia by California Genius LLC, based in the United States. The PUFF device has ideal dimensions with a length of 77.5 mm, a thickness of less than 12.7mm, and a weight of only 21.1gr, making it very comfortable to hold and flexible to carry. PUFF comes in two colors, Space Gray and Black, and is equipped with an LED light as an indicator. With a 450mAh battery capacity, the PUFF device has a longer usage life.

During a press conference on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, Edwin said, "Our expertise lies in applying innovative approaches to extracting ingredients from Indonesia's natural resources. We believe that combining the extraction of authentic Indonesian spices with the PUFF vapor system can provide significant benefits to the community."

Edwin stated that this product is also designed with a closed-system concept, so the liquid for PUFFpod cannot be refilled arbitrarily. This ensures the content of the liquid is more guaranteed and safe to use.

The coil in the PUFF device is also designed using Perforated Heating Plate technology, which ensures more even heating, resulting in better cloud or vapor quality and flavor. PUFFpod CovHerbal is also undergoing testing using Gas Chromatograph-Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) to identify the components in CovHerbal.

According to Edwin, by conducting GCMS testing, PUFF is committed to operating with great responsibility so that every product created can benefit people, especially the Indonesian community. To achieve this commitment, after establishing an e-juice factory that has been operating since early 2020, PUFF will also establish its own vaporizer device assembly factory in Indonesia.

"PUFF also hopes to collaborate with local spice farmers so that Indonesian spice yields can be processed optimally. This is to increase the competitiveness of products from Indonesia's natural wealth in the global market and improve the welfare of farmers in Indonesia," said Edwin.
