Next, Rifat also explained about saltnic liquid. Saltnic liquid, or salt nicotine, is very different from freebase liquid, as saltnic liquid tends to have a less strong flavor than freebase and high nicotine levels (around 15mg-50mg).

The extraction process of saltnic liquid is also different from freebase, therefore saltnic liquid is only suitable for use in pods or AIOs (that support saltnic).

Also, salt liquid is usually packaged in 15ml to 30ml bottles; there are indeed 60ml ones but not many.

What's Suitable for Pods Friendly Liquid

According to Rifat, pods friendly liquid is a newcomer liquid that can be said to be in between freebase and saltnic.

Pods friendly liquid has a strong flavor like freebase, but the extraction and texture of pods friendly liquid are made like saltnic and have nicotine levels that are neither too low nor too high (around 9-35mg).

So, Rifat recommends this liquid if you use an AIO and if you want a strong flavor but a gentle nicotine sensation.

Ohm Types Suitable for Liquid Types

According to Rifat, this is the most important point, because the coil's ohm will determine the suitability of the liquid for proper use.

Rifat explained that the coil's ohm is usually determined by the device. If the device is a pod with power below 18 watts, its coil is only 1.0-1.2 Ohm, which is suitable for salt nic or pods friendly.

Then, for pod devices that have 40-50 watts of power, typically a 0.3 Ohm, 0.6 Ohm, 0.8 Ohm, or even 1.2 Ohm coil will be available, which is suitable for freebase.

Coils at 0.6 Ohm and 0.8 Ohm upwards, like 1.0 Ohm or 1.2 Ohm, are suitable for salt nic and pods friendly.

Rifat also added that if the device supports up to 80 watts of power, there will typically be 0.2 Ohm, 0.16 Ohm, and 0.15 Ohm coils. These coil types are definitely suitable for freebase liquid.

So, in conclusion, if the coil is above 0.6 Ohm, such as 0.8 Ohm, 1.0 Ohm, and 1.2 Ohm, it is suitable for salt nic or pods friendly liquid. This also applies to integrated cartridge coils. For coils below 0.6 Ohm, such as 0.4 Ohm, 0.3 Ohm, 0.2 Ohm, and 0.15 Ohm, they are suitable for freebase.
