Hello vapers, welcome back to #VAPORISTALK content. After a long time, we meet again in this content, which always provides interesting information in the world of vape directly from our professional Vaporistas.
In this #VAPORISTALK, we will be guided directly by Mas Arya, Vaporista from Vapeboss Surabaya branch.
So, without further ado, this time we will discuss something that many vapers have been asking about, what is it? The answer is: can freebase liquid be used in a pod? What kind of freebase liquid criteria allows it to be used in a pod?
Well, in this #Vaporistalk article, we will answer your questions so that your knowledge about vaping becomes broader! Read on!
Can Freebase Liquid Be Used for Pods?
According to Mas Arya, regarding whether freebase liquid can be used for pods, technically freebase liquid can be used in pods, but Mas Arya does not recommend it because it can shorten the coil's lifespan. A pod coil that should last about 2 weeks will only last about 3-5 days if using freebase liquid.
This is because freebase liquid has a thick texture, unlike salt nic and pods friendly liquids which are inherently thinner.
However, since many liquids with a 50:50 PG/VG ratio and a thinner texture are now available, they can be a good alternative, although the taste will not be the same as salt nic and pods friendly.
What Kind of Pods Support Freebase Liquid?
According to Mas Arya, pods suitable for freebase liquid are those with a power output between 40-80 watts.
While in the past there were no pod systems that supported freebase, now there are increasingly more pods with cartridges that can be used for freebase liquid, such as Oxva Nexlim, Oxva Oneo, or Oxva VPrime.

What are the Recommended Freebase Liquids that Can Be Used in Pods?
Mas Arya's recommendations for fruity liquids are Juta Juice series by RSR Brew, Sop Buah by Emkay Brew, and Minus Two by Ora Brewery. For creamy liquids, there's the Manhattan series.
Since creamy liquids with 50/50 PG/VG are rare, there are now pods friendly liquids that have a freebase-like flavor with a 50/50 PG/VG ratio, whether creamy or fruity. These liquids are suitable for use in all types of pods.
