"The tobacco kept getting rained on until Monday. If the tobacco is wilted and then gets wet, it will surely rot and become unsellable because it can no longer be processed," said Boyadi.

Therefore, Boyadi decided to turn the tobacco into organic fertilizer for his plants.

The Head of Sendang Village, Taufiqurrahman, stated that it had been raining continuously in his area for the past week. Taufiq also confirmed that the rotten tobacco was used as fertilizer by the farmers. "Many rotten tobacco plants are then thrown into agricultural land for organic fertilizer."
