Vapeboss – Who doesn't know the hilarious actor Tora Sudiro? The actor, now in his 50s, has adopted a healthy lifestyle by not smoking for almost 20 years. Tora admits he quit smoking a long time ago because he was aware of its dangers. Even so, he remains a passive smoker because many people in his environment still smoke.

Fortunately, Tora never experienced health problems due to smoking when he used to smoke. Nevertheless, Tora admits he occasionally smoked again, but that was only part of the demands of a role in a film.

"I used to smoke during the fixie bike era about three years ago. I stopped smoking for about two years. Then the vape era emerged, and I joined in," he said when interviewed at the Okezone office, HighEnd Building, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta (25/8/2015).

Tora admitted that he was not a heavy smoker, so it was difficult to distinguish between the side effects of tobacco cigarettes and vapes. However, he hopes to quit smoking.

"I never liked smoking from the start, so I rarely vape. It's a bit hard to quit vaping because the gadget is expensive. So far, I don't know the effects. So, I do want to quit smoking," he revealed.

Recently, in content created by Praz Teguh on his YouTube channel Tuah Kreasi, Praz asked Tora if he still smokes or not.

"So, you don't smoke anymore?" Praz asked.

In response, Tora answered, "I haven't smoked for a long time, but now I've started vaping."

Currently, vapes are becoming increasingly popular, especially among young adults and adults. Some people say that e-cigarettes are much more stylish and safer than tobacco cigarettes. However, the pros and cons of this are still debated.

Vapes themselves are devices powered by batteries and are very similar to tobacco cigarettes. However, unlike cigarettes made from rolled tobacco leaves, vapes consist of a tube containing nicotine liquid, fruit flavorings, and other chemicals. Vapes are considered safer because they do not contain tobacco. Even so, much research and innovation must be done to prove that these e-cigarettes are not risky.
