Hello vapers! Last year, specifically on May 28-29, 2022, the Jakarta International Vape Expo (JIVE) was held for the first time at the Jakarta International Expo. At that time, JIVE 2022 was a lively event as it successfully satisfied vapers' longing for a vape event atmosphere after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Previously, Rhomedal Aquino, the organizer of JIVE, stated that he would bring JIVE back in 2023. This was realized thanks to the support from the vape industry and domestic vapers. Now, the Jakarta International Vape Expo, or JIVE 2023, is officially scheduled for June 3-4, 2023, at the same venue, the Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran, Jakarta.

Rhomedal said that JIVE 2023 is a vape expo that aims to gather vapers in one place. Besides being a shopping destination, JIVE also focuses on the growth of MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) while maintaining the bond and culture among vapers so that the vape industry continues to grow.

"What I want at JIVE is not just an expo, but a community party for vapers. It's not just for shopping and so on, that's a given, but it's more about vibing together among vapers, enjoying the culture, so that the vape industry ecosystem can develop further, plus our MSMEs can also grow," said Rhomedal when contacted by the Vapeboss team (June 16, 2023).

Furthermore, what makes JIVE 2023 even more interesting is that they are giving vapers the opportunity to attend the event by distributing a total of 5000 free tickets to vapers, vape communities through vape shops, and even providing free booths.

"As our support for boosting the vape ecosystem and industry, we will distribute 5000 free tickets for vapers to attend JIVE, we also provide opportunities for those who want to open a booth for free. We also hope that from this, they can gather in one place for bonding," he said.

Not only that, Rhomedal mentioned that JIVE 2023 will have a lot of excitement such as vape competitions and various other fun activities. In addition, the futuristic theme carried by JIVE 2023 will later present modern decorations like a spaceship.

"At JIVE 2023, there will also be competitions such as cloud chasing, cloud distance, cloud trick, each divided into 3 categories: male, female, and veteran. Oh yes, this time we are carrying a future theme, where there will be a giant robot as the icon of JIVE and spaceship-like decorations," said Rhomedal.

Through JIVE 2023, Rhomedal also wants the tradition of Indonesian vapers to return, to equalize the vape business of foreigners and local vape industry players. So, the real Guest Stars at JIVE are the vape brands themselves.

"From here, I also want to bring back our culture to balance foreigners and local vape industry players, so at JIVE, the Guest Stars are the brands participating in the expo," he added.
