He also mentioned that recently, a Chinese company called Fuumy Technologi (Dongguan) Co,. Ltd was found guilty of producing and selling "TIKO electronic atomizers" for infringing the design patent of Fogcore Technology. It was suspected that the design imitated RELX Essential with patent number "ZL202030368831.0".

On September 29, the court ruled that the "TIKO electronic atomizer" imitated the appearance of "RELX Essential" from Fogcore's technology. For the infringement, Fuumy was ordered to compensate Fogcore Technology RMB 120,000, equivalent to 257 million rupiah.

From this case, any act of counterfeiting or imitating any product without permission is certainly not justified. This can result in losses to the patent rights of the company owner and even its consumers. Imitation technology does not rule out the possibility that the quality produced will be different, thus endangering consumers.

Therefore, the e-cigarette industry, which has been well-received and accepted by the public, must be protected, especially in Indonesia. Yudhi urged e-cigarette consumers to choose e-cigarette products of clear quality and good reputation, in order to meet their individual preferences.
