Hello Bigboss! How are you today? I hope you're always healthy, your sustenance is abundant, and all your activities are made easy!
Numerous studies abroad concluding that vaping is 95% safer than smoking have led to an increase in vaping trends each year. This is evidenced by 20,000 people quitting smoking annually.
Therefore, vape usage has become increasingly popular recently, as various studies have also supported the positive impact of vaping. Due to the popularity of vapes, conventional cigarettes can now be displaced, and the number of smokers can be reduced.
According to the ASH (Action on Smoking and Health) report, they concluded that around 8.3% of adults in England, Wales, and Scotland use vapes, and their consumption increased by 1.7%. Of the total 4.3 million vapers, 2.4 million are former smokers, 1.5 million are active smokers, and 350,000 are non-smokers.
The main reason vapers switch to vaping is to quit smoking permanently. Meanwhile, 14% of them use vapes because they want to enjoy vaping, and 11% because they want to save money.
The report also found that vaping is very popular among young people aged 18 to 24. According to the data, these young people were the largest consumers of vapes in 2022.
Although research has shown that vaping is 95% safer than smoking, the emergence of the vaping trend is not to be feared. This is proven by how vaping has helped many smokers quit, and even the NHS website recommends vaping as an alternative to quitting smoking.
