Vapeboss – YouTuber and rapper, Roy Ricardo, switched to e-cigarettes after starting to smoke at the age of 28. He stated that it was his own choice.

"Initially, I wasn't a smoker. Then I smoked, then I switched to vape or e-cigarettes," said Roy Ricardo.

Roy explained that his switch to vaping was so that the smell produced by the vape would not bother people around him. In addition, he quit smoking because he did not want his wife's and child's health to be affected.

"Then my wife was also bothered by the smell, and I was more concerned about my child's health. My child is still a baby," Roy said.

Before switching to vape, Roy asked his brother, who is a doctor, about the contents and profile of e-cigarettes. He then received an answer that e-cigarettes are safer than tobacco cigarettes.

"My reason for choosing vape is that it's water vapor. When you puff, it will go down because of the water content," he explained.

"If you smoke in a car, the vehicle's ceiling will smell and turn yellow, which means there are bad substances in it," he continued.

Roy felt that the use of e-cigarettes or vapes does not have as bad an impact as conventional cigarettes. However, he does not recommend e-cigarettes for non-smokers because vape is an alternative for someone who wants to switch from smoking.

"But that's each person's life choice. It's up to them," he concluded.
