The Head of the Sidoarjo Customs and Excise Office, Pantjoro Agoeng, along with several staff members, made a working visit to PT Revolusi Sejuta Rasa, in the Benowo area, Surabaya City, on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. This was done by Sidoarjo Customs and Excise in order to build engagement with the community, especially business actors or stakeholders.
Customs Visit Customer (CVC) was the theme of the visit. On this occasion, Pantjoro Agoeng expressed his appreciation to PT Revolusi Sejuta Rasa, known as a brewer of liquid juta juice, for its contribution to state revenue from the Electric Cigarette Excise (REL) sector, a new type of excise goods established since 2019.
Stanley, the owner of PT Revolusi Sejuta Rasa, gave a warm welcome to the Sidoarjo Customs and Excise officials for their visit. Furthermore, Stanley invited the Head of the Office and his entourage to tour and observe the ongoing production process.
Stanley stated that his company wants to capture the tastes of the dynamic domestic vape market. He also hopes that the government and Customs and Excise can accommodate these markets.
"Our challenge going forward is to capture the very dynamic market tastes; we hope the government and Customs and Excise can accommodate these market dynamics," Stanley told the Sidoarjo Customs and Excise delegation.
Before concluding the Working Visit event, Pantjoro Agoeng presented an award and advised PT Revolusi Sejuta Rasa to continue complying with the administrative system and maintaining reporting to Customs and Excise.
"The award we give is not only to appreciate the contribution to state revenue; furthermore, I hope that administrative compliance and reporting must be maintained," he said.
