Vapeboss – KONVO (Organized Vape Consumers) held a gathering on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Wisang Kopi, South Jakarta. With the theme 'How Consumers View Vape Products Circulating in Society', KONVO involved vape consumers from several communities such as Daily Cloud Jakarta, Foxy Tangerang, Foxy Jakarta, Sarang Vape, Jumpsuit Family, and the Vapekers Community.

"Our hope is that by openly sharing opinions and information, e-cigarette users can get information about the quality of vape products," said Hokkop, Chairman of KONVO.

According to Hokkop, one of the reasons for holding such an event is to avoid illegal and fake products, so that the public, especially vape consumers, can be wiser in choosing the best quality products, undoubtedly from trusted and economical brands. He added that the effort to disseminate information about the best quality e-cigarettes to consumers is a form of KONVO's commitment regarding advocacy and consumer protection.

"We believe that by holding events like this, the voice of consumers can be used as a basis for the industry in maximizing the potential benefits of vape, which certainly helps adult smokers switch from tobacco cigarettes," said Hokkop.

Hokkop admitted that KONVO not only needs to monitor the quality of e-cigarette products on the market, but KONVO also needs to play a role in collaborating directly with consumers to more widely disseminate more detailed information about e-cigarette products.

One of the invited guests, Kaka Boy, an influencer, said that e-cigarette or vape consumers must do research first before consuming them, not because of invitations or environmental influence.

"Don't just use it because it's popular among friends with the label of being cheap; you still need to check first whether the product is legal and safe to consume," said influencer Kaka Boy.
